Tread Lightly Visit

This week, Room 10 visited the Tread Lightly caravan. Our visit taught us about making sure to not drop rubbish, putting your rubbish in the right bin, making sure we don't put anything down the drains and also spent time exploring objects with magnifying glasses and planting seeds.

We had read and watched 'The Lorax' by Dr. Suess last week, so this visit linked really well to what we had learned from that. We were given the chance to be hands-on learners, and discuss with our adults why looking after the environment is so important.

The seeds that we planted are coming home in their containers, and it is our job to care for them and help them grow at home! We hope we remember what to do...

And a special thank you to Connor's Mum Kelly and Olive's Mum Pippa for helping us out with this learning experience, we appreciate you so much!

It has great messages about looking after the environment. Look after those seeds that you planted.
